1950's Kitchen Remodel

The client took baby steps to get to know us, which I love and welcome. They did a discovery call and then booked a small package of hours. They provided me with plans and asked me to explore adding square footage to make the kitchen larger.

At our first meeting, I expressed that adding square footage would increase their budget by $75,000 to $85,000, and “pushing” would create a problem with the garage and the distance code to the house. I presented some sketches so they could see how
removing a few walls would give them everything they needed for a larger kitchen without adding square footage. They hired me to design the plans, assist with selecting finishes and fixtures, and be their project manager/advocate during construction, all while they were in Europe for a month. We are all delighted with the outcome!
