Downtown LA Met Lofts
This project was so much fun to create. The loft was designed for Dwell on Design and we were featured in Dwell Magazine.
So many wonderful vendors contributed by loaning their pieces for us to showcase. I also had the pleasure to be interviewed by Nate Burkus and the Editor of Dwell magazine, what a treat!
This style is inspired by the conversion of warehouses into living spaces. Here, raw industrial elements play against rough textures, recycled materials, and found objects.
Imagine exposed brick and beams, steel and ductwork paired with rustic touches like relaclaimed wood doors and overstuffed armchairs. Finish the look with color from warm grays to browns mixed with splashes of brighter tones, and add natural textures and cool vintage accesories.
