Spanish Bathroom Remodel

My clients purchased this 1930s Spanish-style home previously owned by a few Hollywood legends. My client wanted to add some color, being true to the simple Spanish vibe but making it unique. They didn’t wish to go over the top but wanted something you didn’t see every day.

The bathroom vanity needed to be narrow, not the typical 22.5″, because we needed to make the residential distance code between the front of the toilet and the vanity. We could have built a shallow box, but I decided to shop for a unique piece of furniture. I found this beautiful hand-carved piece and decided to paint it SWTricorn black. I chose not to keep the original brown stain because I felt the antique wood entrance doors needed to stand out.

The client and I went shopping for tile and fell in love with Tabarka studio! They have wonderful hand-painted tiles, so we selected a custom color blend.

My client wanted to see what the bathroom would look like before we purchased items, so we created a 3D rendering that gave her the insight she needed to move forward.
