Full Service Interior Design

Studio Blu’s full-service design experience begins with a complimentary discovery call where we learn how you live, what your goals are for your future home project, and how you want to feel in your space. We will ask you about the budget, time frame, and how involved you like us to be. If we are a good fit, the next step is an in-home design consultation, where we come to your home to discuss your project in more detail.

After we meet in your home, we will create a customized design proposal based on your specific needs and style desires. We are open to all budgets, and your design packet will be created around your budget structure. Our typical full-service Interior design process consists of three phases.

Phase 1 Design Development

Client consultation meetings and communication; Site field measure and before photos taken of room(s) and existing pieces that will remain in the home or will be refurbished; Proposed furniture plans; Budget sheet; Specification sheets showing custom cabinets, furniture designs, or custom window treatments; 3D renderings; Meeting with subcontractors; Sourcing, tear sheets with prices and lead times; Design presentation; Design revisions; and final sign of the proposed scheme.

Phase 2 Procurement and Installation

Client consultation meetings and communication; Purchasing retainer collected; Creation of all product invoices and purchase orders; Order placement begins; Budget sheet updated; Items tracking and ETA reports updated every week; Arrangement for installation; Installation oversight; Quality control as needed.

Phase 3 Styling and final touches

Client consultation meetings and communication; Final décor sourcing and installation. Art, accessories, and plants. The designer will style the room with final décor items. Space will be professionally photographed (photographer provided by Studio Blu, Inc.), and the client has the option if they would like to purchase items dressed in the room or create a new final punch list.
