My client was offered a top position at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. She expressed to me that the move from Manhattan Beach, California across the country with her family was too overwhelming for her. “I’ve been down this road before,” she said. “It was hard enough to pack and unpack before marriage and kids; now, it’s too much.”

Deb needed to concentrate on what really mattered, which was her family. She needed to start fresh in her new senior position.
