PLAYA VISTA CONDO
REMODEL
What started as a bathroom remodel, turned into a full on facelift of his entire condo. This was the first of three projects my client and I worked together on. I added interest to the dull grey walls, by applying photo realistic brick wall paper to the living room from Astek.com. (see below, before photo) Keeping the granite countertops and making them work by adding Ann sacks tile for the back splash. New pendant lighting, and new cabinet fronts give this kitchen a totally fresh design. The oak floors were refined with a warm grey stain. We needed to keep the office closed off from the hall so I went shopping and found antique doors from India. I had them cut, stained and made into bi-fold doors. My client loves grey, warm tone, textures and is inspired by his travels.

Colors taken from nature work nicely when choosing a cabinets stain. These cabinets were refaced in a warm brown stain veneer.
